Engaged stakeholders across Ontario hospitals to understand their internal data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities. Synthesized those findings into a framework and report illustrating models for delivering artificial intelligence and data analytics services within a hospital. The framework outlined both the governance and operational structures needed for successful implementation.

Designed educational brochures grounded in internal hospital surveys and study protocols to educate patients on active trials, improving patient communication and equity in research participation.

Modelling Breast Cancer Metastasis with a Lung-on-a-Chip Device

Led an NSERC-funded project developing a microfluidic platform to model breast cancer metastasis; fabricated devices using 3D modeling software and cell culture, trained graduate students on experimental techniques, and developed lab protocols.
