Benchmarking Wait Times in a Community Rheumatology Practice

Five-rheumatologist community group practice, Brampton, ON · Supervisor: Dr. Vandana Ahluwalia

Led a quality-improvement study benchmarking referral-to-consult access times against Canadian Rheumatology Association standards for a five-physician practice. Healthcare AISept – Dec 2022

Machine Learning for Healthcare Operations

McMaster University · DeGroote School of Business

Led a graduate research project applying machine learning methods to healthcare operations problems, translating clinical questions into analytical frameworks.

Built and evaluated models against operational baselines, then packaged the findings for a mixed audience of clinicians and business faculty.

Emergency MedicineSept 2019 – Mar 2020

Clinical Research in the Emergency Department

London Health Sciences Centre · Children's Hospital Research

Supported clinical research in the emergency department: patient recruitment, chart review, and data collection for studies focused on acute care workflows and patient outcomes.

Coordinated with physicians and residents on the floor to keep enrolment moving during unpredictable shifts.

Lung-on-a-ChipMay – Aug 2019

Microfluidics for Translational Respiratory Research

London Health Sciences Centre · Wong Lab, Western University

Contributed to a lung-on-a-chip biomedical physics project out of the Wong Lab at Western — microfluidics fabrication, imaging, and characterization of alveolar tissue models.

Worked at the bench end-to-end: device fabrication, cell seeding, and imaging analysis to characterize barrier function.
